Virago International Academy or how can we develop our potential?

How many girls in our country between the ages of 19 and 29 have travelled in Europe by themselves ? How much are they aware about their own abilities and development potential? And how many of them can decide what kind of life they would like to lead?

That is why, the youth exchanges and trainings of our Virago Academy are necessary to help young girls  “find themselves”, feel part of Europe and develop their leadership skills. For several months, the international project funded by the ERASMUS + VIRAGO program, have been bringing together, training and empowering more than 500 women aged 18-29. These young participants were involved  in exchange groups in Spain and Romania. Even when back home, they can communicate via the platform https://viragoproject.eu. Now some others are getting ready for the forthcoming exchanges in Italy, Bulgaria and Turkey.

During such meetings, the participants build their self-confidence and partner network to support their initiatives. This model of cooperation is in the context of the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027. The project involves organizations and institutions from Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Turkey and Estonia. The project consortium includes: Asociatia SE POATE🇷🇴, Mine Vaganti NGO🇮🇹, Paralel-Silistra🇧🇬, Ayuntamiento de Medina del Campo🇪🇸,  Ministry of You-Ettevotluses System for Sports.

We are presenting a footage from the youth exchange in Bucharest, Romania.
