Municipal Youth Forum

Annually, in partnership with the the Municipal Department “Education and Youth Activities” we participate in implementing the Annual action program on youth activities by organising and conduct information meetings, forums and trainings to encourage youth active civil participation.
In 2013-2015 we implemented the project “European Youth Network Antennas – Europe 2020”, funded by the program “Youth in Action”. Our goal was to educate and motivate youth groups to develop a network of European antennas in five districts of Northern Bulgaria. We used interactive online module for distant learning so that young people could broaden their understanding of European values. Our engagement in the project also included the performance of educational integration initiatives.

In 2014 – 2016 we completed a series of youth trainings on the theme “Media and stereotypes”. For this purpose we designed interactive methods and developed case studies together with the local journalists. Keynote trainers were Diana Bebenova-Nikolova, PhD in Intercultural Communication and Margarita Ivanova, a journalist for the Bulgarian National Radio and Television.

In 2016 together with the informal group “Entrepreneurs for the Future” from the local Language school “Peyo Yavorov” we conducted the project “My career – my future.” The project activities were funded by the Youth program of Municipality of Silistra.
