Different children with equal rights

The project built on the concept that in order to raise awareness on children’s rights and their implementation, the teaching of this subject should be carried out in multiethnic classes / communities, not mono-ethnic ones. Only in multiethnic groups children can actually participate in the process of intercultural communication and develop tolerance and respect for their own rights and those of the others. Following this concept, the project “Different children with equal rights” developed an educational model for teaching tolerance, anti-racist and anti-discriminatory behavior. It trained more than 20 teachers to apply this specialized methodology for teaching human rights in mixed ethnic groups.
