For the second consecutive year our NGO “Parallel Silistra” has participated in the competition “Innovation Camp” at the Language School “Peyo Yavorov”. The event, held on 18.11.2016, is part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week in Bulgaria (November 14th until 20th ), hosted by Junior Achievement Bulgaria.

Twenty-four students from the 10th, 11th and 12th classes competed in six teams in the camp. This year, the participants had to generate solutions concerning the problem of the disappearance of bees by using their own ideas as well as information from the Internet .

The Chairperson of the NGO “Parallel Silistra” led the jury, whose assignment was to evaluate the participants’ projects. The team, “Royal Adventure” (composed of Brian Bedri, Nataliya Vasileva, Christiana Nikolaeva and Veronica Staneva) got the first prize, the second was awarded to the team “Magnetic pollen” (composed of Ivo Todorov, Kristina Petrova, Gergana Ivanova and Boyana Vasileva) and the third – to the team “Green future” (composed of Nevzat Khalil, Victoria Todorova, Preslava Petrova and Ina Ivanova).
