The training course ‘Yes to Inclusion, No to Exclusion’ was organised by Amber Initiatives under the frame of Erasmus+ programme. It aimed to develop participants’ knowledge, skills and competencies in working with diverse groups of young people. The training had a special focus on how to communicate with young migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, addressing the migration crisis.
The trainees acquired new or additional knowledge on the issues of exclusion, inclusion and non-formal education. In this context they had the chance to analyse their own role in creating social exclusion/inclusion or in more inclusive youth work.
New contacts and international partnerships has been set up with organizations from UK, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Greece and Romania. Thus, in 2017 one of our main organizational tasks will be to promote issues on exclusion, inclusion and non-formal education.
