The second edition of the ‘Clean and Green’ campaign initiative took place in the village of Iskra, Sitovo Municipality.
It was Dzheren Arif , a volunteer from ‘Paralel-Silistra’, who organised the cleaning event. Together with 10 locals she performed the ‘Clean and Green’ initiative as part of the “16 Days of Activism” Campaign. The participants managed to collect more than 120 kg of garbage, which was later disposed in the regional landfill by the local municipality.
Now the people from = the village of Iskra, Sitovo Municipality can enjoy cleaner and greener environment.
The initiative ‘Clean and Green: The Pathway to a Sustainable Future’ as part of the “16 Days of Activism” Campaign will continue in Silistra District with one more event.
