‘Clean and Green: The Pathway to a Sustainable Future’ in Silistra is our next campaign initiative.
On May 13, 2023, together with the students and teachers from the Silistra Branch of Ruse University, we performed the ‘Clean and Green’ initiative as part of the “16 Days of Activism” Campaign. The latter kicked off at the beginning of April 2023, and it will run in the four project countries, Bulgaria, Spain, Italy, and Portugal, until February 2024. The campaign is a series of national events engaging at least 200 young people offline and 220 online.
The event ‘Clean and Green: The Pathway to a Sustainable Future’ got together 30 volunteers who participated in the garbage collection along the ‘Health Trail’ and later enjoyed some sports activities under the green shadows of the trees uphill.
The initiative ‘Clean and Green: The Pathway to a Sustainable Future’ as part of the “16 Days of Activism” Campaign will continue in Silistra District with two more events.
