The VIeW project launched a collaboration with the Lithuanian organisation Ukreate HUB. Based in Vilnius, this NGO supports Ukrainian women displaced by the war who live far from their homeland. The agreement on conducting joint activities was discussed in May 2024.
Our project participants stand in unwavering solidarity with the young people and women who the war in Ukraine has displaced. Their resilience and courage deeply move us in the face of such adversity. Through our collaboration with Ukreate HUB, we are committed to providing the support and resources needed to help you rebuild your lives far from home. Your strength and determination are a source of inspiration, and we are dedicated to fostering opportunities for you to develop leadership skills, engage in social innovation, and pursue entrepreneurial ventures. Together, we will work towards a future where your voices are heard, and your contributions lead to positive societal changes.
Let us recall the impactful VIeW project, financed by the “Erasmus+” program, and implemented by the “Parallel Silistra” Association. This project, in partnership with TAVO Europe (Lithuania), the “Amanay Association (Spain) and DOREA Educational Institute (Cyprus), aims to encourage participants, including girls from Ukraine, to develop active citizenship and leadership skills, contributing to positive changes in social life. Young people have the opportunity to implement their own initiatives within the framework of the international campaign “We Can”, which was launched in the month of March 2024. They will also share their digital stories on the project platform https://paralel-silistra.net/view/wiki/ .
The first associated partner organization participating in the project is Ukreate HUB (https://ukreatehub.eu). Its activities aim to support Ukrainian women in Vilnius in developing skills for social innovation and entrepreneurship for the reconstruction of Ukraine. The organisation manages two programs to finance small entrepreneurial projects in Lithuania.
At this stage, the partnership with Ukreate HUB is carried out online, and information and news are exchanged. We invite everyone to visit the site ukreatehub.eu, as well as the Facebook page of the VIeW Project.
