The VIeW Project meeting held took place on December 13th and 14th in Limassol, Cyprus. It was a pivotal event for experience sharing among the partner organizations: NGO “Parallel Silistra,” Bulgaria, Association TAVO Europe from Lithuania, Amanay from the Canary Island, Spain and Dorea, Cyprus. The Partners got together to discuss their teaching approaches aiming to empower women for social change. The agenda featured collaborative sessions, best practices sharing, and strategic planning.
Day 1 commenced with a warm welcome, fostering a collaborative atmosphere. Following good practice presentations spanned green skills and human-rights-based responses to war. Then, the Partners continued by showcasing initiatives like the ‘Free the Lane Campaign’ in Kyiv and a Living Library on human rights. The day also highlighted digital skills, cultural diversity, and active citizenship as core European values.
Day 2 delved into the future, discussing logistics for the transnational 5-day training in Lithuania and planning online sessions. Therefore, the results were significant: international collaboration strengthened, knowledge exchanged, tools developed, and plans set to empower 16 young females transnationally and engage 240 diverse youths in national events. At the end, the meeting concluded with a clear Agenda for the training in Lithuania. In the coming months, the Partners will develop their Digital Portfolio and the Toolkit of Positive Practices. These efforts will provide them with a methodological experience to draft the content of the training.
