In the beginning, the project includes the development of a specialized training program content and teaching through interactive and emotionally engaging approaches, based on the the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

At the next stage, an interactive seminar for teachers from target schools and NGO representatives on the topic of ” Different children with equal rights” will be held.

The pilot model for teaching children’s rights will be realized by conducting a demonstration of  “6 lessons for our rights.” Classes will be conducted in mixed ethnic groups on neutral ground in Silistra, and will demonstrate new methods in order to promote their use in schools for the reinforcement of the learning process.

The project will also implement a Summer School “Different children with equal rights ” for 20 children from the target group to socialize together outside their native place for 10 days.

The project envisages the implementation of informational activities and building partnerships with local elected persons and institutions. Thus we aim to obtain an institutional support to develop and adopt a proposal concerning the practical steps for “Implementing an interactive training on children’s rights in mixed groups. “
